CINNAMON LEAF PURE ESSENTIAL OIL    

Cinnamomum verum

This large tropical evergreen tree grows into an awning of glossy green leaves with clusters of white flowers in the summer months. The essential oil is steam distilled from the twigs and leaves to make an oil that is sweet, and herbaceous with aromatic notes of cinnamon and clove. Cinnamon Leaf is a strong pain calming oil for sore joints, exercised muscles, arthritis and rheumatism. It is a mind energising brain tonic that increases brain functioning, calms stress and invigorates fatigue, brighter thinking and focus.

The merits of this oil

The fresh, sweet herbaceous aroma calms stress and energises lethargy. Spritz a couple of drops with water in a spray bottle or diffuse into the air.

A strong anti-inflammatory for head colds, Lavender Leaf soothes inflammation in the mucous membranes of the nose and pharynx.

Diffuse this oil to disinfect the air from bacterial microbes and calm cold symptoms. Steam inhalation is excellent for inhalation of the vapours.
