CYPRESS PURE ESSENTIAL OIL
Cupressus sempervirens
The slender, elegant cypress with its narrow columnar habit of growth naturally occurs in the Mediterranean regions. A fresh, herbaceous, green aromatic essential oil is obtained from steam distillation of the twigs, stems and leaves of the tree. Cypress essential oil’s fresh, herbaceous aroma freshens, restores and uplifts. Mild sedative actions calm nervous tension and stress to energise lethargy, lift emotional equilibrium and improve memory. This is one of the most powerful natural astringents and tightens muscular skin on the face while toning pores. It is particularly effective for oily skin because of the astringent actions.
