Citrus aurantifolia

The Lime tree, Citrus aurantifolia has glossy evergreen leaves and beautiful white, sweet aromatic blossoms that are followed by the round lime green fruits. It produces a fresh, citrus sweet essential oil when cold pressed from the rind of the fresh fruit.  Lime essential oil is a rich source of natural antioxidants and nutrients that are particularly effective in facial and body cleansers.
