Cymbopogon martinii

Cymbopogon is an evergreen, tufted sweet smelling strappy grass that has a floral rose aroma and strong slender stems.  Soft and sweet with rosy, floral, herbaceous, lemony notes, the essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh grass. Palmarosa essential oil cools, calms and balances the mind.  It is used in healing skin preparations and is very effective for soothing inflamed, itching skin and skin infections.  An excellent oil for rejuvenating skin, Palmarosa softens and moisturises. The merits of this oil
