Psiadia altissima

Psiadia altissima is a flowering plant with green leaves and clusters of tufted yellow flowers.  The leaves and twigs are steam distilled to make an essential oil that is aromatic, woody and green with hints of eucalyptus.  Psiadia altissima essential oil is saturated with anti-inflammatory actions that are particularly effective in moisturising massage blends to nourish dry skin ailments and itching skin infections.

The merits of this oil

Skin ailments:  Psiadia helps soothe inflamed, dry skin and is particularly effective for extreme itching skin. 

Haemostatic to prevent bleeding:  It improves the clotting of blood and prevents bleeding when dabbed onto sores, so a scab forms to heal the sore. 

Respiratory ailments:  Effective for respiratory infections of flu and colds.  Psiadia is a decongestant for bronchitis and asthma that unclogs lungs and the respiratory tract. It also soothes the inflammation of sore throats.

Heavy legs:  Psiadia is excellent for calming the swelling of heavy, swollen, pained legs caused by fluid swelling.
