Pelargonium graveolens

Pelargonium graveolens is indigenous to the Cape Province of Southern Africa.  It is an extremely aromatic shrub with green leaves that smell of roses, besides having umbels of beautiful flowers. Grown mainly for its aromatic leaves, Rose Geranium produces a rich floral rose essential oil when steam distilled from the foliage, flowers and stems. It has many excellent therapeutic actions for the mind and body, particularly women’s health. Rose Geranium is an excellent oil balancer of female skin and hormones.
