SCOTCH PINE PURE ESSENTIAL OIL    

Pinus sylvestris

The Scotch Pine is an evergreen pine tree with bluish-green to green foliage and an orange bark. The essential oil is steam distilled from the pine leaves to make an oil that’s fresh, sweet and woody with a characteristic invigorating pine aroma. This is an uplifting oil for the mind and could be included in adrenal fatigue blends.  Scotch Pine’s fresh, invigorating aroma is excellent for diffusing into the air with anti-bacterial and anti-viral actions that’ll cleanse and purify to freshen and disinfect. It is also excellent in anti-perspiration blends because of its anti-bacterial actions that prevent odour with its fresh aroma.

The merits of this oil

Athlete’s foot:  An excellent anti-fungal for athlete’s foot. Massage the diluted oil onto your feet.

Arthritis and gout:  This oil is effective for calming the pain of arthritis, rheumatism and gout.

Psoriasis and eczema:  Scotch Pine is excellent for calming the inflammation of psoriasis and eczema.

Energising and uplifting:  This oil is uplifting to the mind and energises emotional attitude to prevent fatigue. 

Anti-inflammatory:  Calms inflammation in the body and should be massaged on the area of pain.  

Athlete’s foot to colds:  An excellent anti-viral and anti-fungal oil for fungal and viral infections such as athlete’s foot and colds.
