Castor Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the castor oil plant, Ricinus communis. Nourishing and moisturising, Castor Oil is excellent for skin ailments such as acne and eczema because it calms inflammation. It is saturated with fatty acids named triglycerides, much of it being ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid with strong anti-inflammatory activity to calm pain.
